the craziest day of the week

Tuesdays... How I dread Tuesdays...

I shouldn't complain, they are actually loaded with fun and entertainment, but it is the most hectic, non-stop day of the week for me! Both A2 and A3 have dance on Tuesdays. A3 goes to dance for about 1 1/2 hours in the morning, consisting of half ballet and half tap. Although she has yet to master the technique of grace, she is truly a trooper! She goes at it with such diligence! We think she would be best suited for Jazz or maybe that STOMPing style...

She does a few stretches in order to warm up and get ready to practice her ballet routine. This is her 1st year dancing, while most of her class are in their 2nd year. She wasn't interested in dance last year, until she went to A2's recital and she too, wanted to wear a pretty costume and dance on stage.

Being that A2 is in an older group, her lessons run approximately 2 hours long. Half of Ballet and the other of Tap. This is her 3rd year dancing, she really loves it, although Tap has become more work than in the prior years. Even us moms have tried to do shuffle combinations and we have to hand it to the girls, those combos are tough!

Here the girls have to stretch out before dancing. Their instructor Susan, is very good. She is the most patient person! She always makes sure the kids are all warmed up and stretched properly before they can start to dance.

The girls' recital is next month! So is my graduation and A1's 14th birthday! Busy, busy month!

On another note, F had a race today and I beleive that he placed 6th. I don't know the details, but will post them as soon as I get them!
